Case Study: AG Steakhouse

AG Steakhouse, a traditional Brazilian steakhouse located in Long Island, offers a unique All-You-Can-Eat dining experience, Rodizio style. Discover how Chechi Social utilized strategic organic methods to elevate AG Steakhouse’s social media presence from just 300 followers on Instagram to nearly 3,000 followers in only 2.5 months.

The Challenge

AG Steakhouse approached Chechi Social with the challenge of growing their social media presence on a limited marketing budget. Leveraging our deep understanding of the hospitality industry, we focused on three key strategies that would not only boost their online presence but also convert social media engagement into reservations.

The Approach

Despite the challenges, we set clear goals and built our strategy from the ground up. Our first priority was creating an engaged audience through a consistent posting schedule with clear calls to action, encouraging users to inquire about events and book tables online.

Another key approach was our agility in hopping on trends that resonated with AG Steakhouse’s target audience—those over twenty-five who appreciate fine dining but also value current and relatable content. By staying on top of daily trending content, especially on TikTok, we were able to maintain a fresh, engaging presence that appealed to both existing customers and potential new clientele. This strategy paid off significantly with a viral DTC (daily trending content) moment on TikTok, where one of our videos garnered over sixty-one thousand views within a day, amplifying AG Steakhouse’s reach and attracting a wider audience.

Next, we maximized our influencer partnerships by reaching out to micro-influencers and smaller content creators who were specifically active in the Long Island foodie niche. With high engagement rates relative to their following, these influencers were eager to collaborate in exchange for a dining experience at AG Steakhouse. Their quality content resonated with their audiences, and by partnering with numerous creators, we gained valuable content, increased exposure, and built a trusted relationship with both our audience and theirs.

Over time, the strategy paid off as many of these videos went viral, turning views into followers. Out of 19 micro-influencers and content creators we partnered with, six went viral, collectively amassing 377,500 views on Instagram alone.

The Results

By prioritizing community engagement and establishing trust with our audience, Chechi Social successfully grew AG Steakhouse’s social media presence, cultivating a dedicated following eager to dine at AG Steakhouse. Our strategic partnerships and organic growth tactics demonstrated the power of targeted influencer marketing, even with a limited budget.
